Love at first sight

I love color. I love texture. Those are two big reasons why I make jewelry. Over a year ago, I went to my first bead show with a friend who was excited about starting to make jewelry. I was just the supportive friend who went so she wouldn't be alone. But one step on that tradeshow floor, and I fell in love with all of the different colors and textures, shapes and sizes, simplicity and complexity of BEADS! I was amazed because I had no idea that there were so many different kinds! Now, I love searching out the unusual and the just plain pretty. I found the red beads on these earrings in my favorite antique store on a necklace that was old, old, old. And so full of interesting and wonderful beads. I love vintage finds and this was a great one.
